Touring Park Terms & Conditions

1. Arrivals:

On arrival please follow signs to your chosen pitch. This will be indicated on your booking confirmation e-mail, along with your personal barrier code. Should you have any issues please call at Main Reception. Arrival time can be any time after 2pm and before 8pm after which you may be required to park overnight in the lay-by adjacent to the Park.

2. Departures:

Departure time is 12 noon.

3. Pitches:

Whilst every effort will be made to meet any pitch preference as shown on the Booking Form, no guarantee can be given to meet requirements for a particular pitch. All of the pitches are on hard-standings, have running water, electricity hook-up points and grey waste facility.

If your stay is to exceed 7 nights you may be required to move pitch part way through your stay to retain the quality of the grass.

4. Awnings:

All pitches are awning friendly. In all cases only breathable ground sheets are allowed. Awnings must be taken down when the caravan is not occupied.

5. Electricity (Inc. hook ups):

Only designated caravan electrical equipment should be used from our supply to your unit. Large domestic appliances must not be used.

6. Tents:

We are not able to accept tents.

7. Bookings:

Advance bookings are accepted on receipt of a deposit of 30% of the overall booking cost. Pre-booking is essential during high season and Bank Holidays. Extensions of bookings may be arranged through Reception. Bookings cannot exceed 28 days at one time. Full payment for all bookings must be made 21 days prior to your stay. Bookings within 21 days of arrival will need to be paid in full. No bookings will be taken after 7pm on the same day of arrival.

8. Cancellations:

Any cancellation made by yourself 21 days prior to your stay will receive a full refund of all monies paid, minus a £15 admin fee, or alternatively you can have a credit note for a later stay. Cancellations made within 21 days of your stay will not receive any refund or credit note. (In certain circumstances management reserve the right to change this policy) Fontygary Parks recommend you take out adequate insurance to protect your holiday.

9. Security Barrier:

We operate a security barrier and a code is required for vehicles. Only one vehicle is allowed access through the barrier per booking. Additional cars may be parked in the adjacent general car park,

10. Dogs:

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead whilst on the Park and must be under the strict control of a responsible person at all times. Dogs must be exercised in the designated areas adjacent to the Park and all fouling in appropriate ‘doggy bags’ (on or off the Park) must be deposited in waste bins.

11. Noise:

For the convenience of all, noise is not tolerated between 10.00 p.m. and 8 a.m.

12. Children:

Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians they are to be supervised at all times so they do not become a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.

13. Bicycles:

CBicycles must be ridden only on the roads around the Park and always in a safe manner. We ask parents/guardians to assist and support us in this, which is for the benefit of all.

14. Ball Games:

There is a Field for all Ball Games adjacent to the touring park. No ball games are allowed on the Park at any time.

15. Kites:

Kites must not be flown on the Touring Park at any time. They can be flown on the adjacent empty field.

16. Cars:

The speed limit of 10 M.P.H. must be observed at all times.

17. Barbeques:

BBQ’s: Gas or charcoal BBQ’s are permitted if raised off of the ground and situated at least 3 metres away from any hedges or fencing. BBQ’s fuelled by wood are not allowed. Please always have a bucket of water to hand when BBQ-ing.

18. Laundry:

A laundry is provided on the Park. Should you need to hang your washing outside please do this in a discreet manner. No rotary lines please.

19. Smoking Policy:

All buildings are non-smoking. Anybody in breach of the legislation will be asked to leave the Holiday Park.

20. Visitors:

You are welcome to have day visitors but they must park in the general car park. All visitors must leave the Park by 10pm.

21. Regulations:

Fontygary Parks is governed by Statutory and other regulations.

22. Liability:

Fontygary Parks and its employees are absolved from all liability for accidents to tourers, motorhomes, equipment, caravans and visitors. We cannot accept responsibility for loss of life, personal injury, loss, damage or accident to personal property. We recommend you take out appropriate insurance to cover both yourselves, others in your party and personal belongings.

23. Facilities:

We reserve the right to modify our prices in the light of cost fluctuations (e.g. changes in V.A.T) Also owing to our policy of continual improvements we may make changes to the Park and its facilities, as described, without notice,. Disabled facilities are available on the Park. All statements made by Fontygary Parks are in the honest belief that the facts given are correct at the time they are given. However, facilities may be altered or withdrawn and Fontygary Parks cannot be held liable for this.

24. General:

Fontygary Parks reserves the right to cancel or terminate a booking where any person has failed to disclose all materiel facts as required on booking. The Park may also require any person not observing the Park rules or creating a nuisance to leave the Park. In these circumstances the Park shall not be under any liability to the persons involved and shall be discharged from further performance of its obligations. Any refunds given will be at the discretion of the company. Fontygary Parks Ltd. reserves the right to refuse a booking or entry to any persons at any time without reason being given. 

25. Privacy Statement:

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Fontygary Parks does not offer any information provided by customers to Third Parties.

Fontygary Park’s Ltd are responsible for any card transaction through our website. Connection to our third party Payment handling system is done via SSL and the card payment gateway offers 3d secure to protect your online transaction from fraud.

All payments are processed in accordance with local laws and no information held will be sold or forwarded to third parties
